Muse/ Account is Multiship friendly, all ships will be in separate individual AU's as to prevent drama and issues.Muses and Muns must be over 18+ as Maria as depicted to be a young adult and I am not comfortable shipping with minor writers or chars that are minors.I will not romantically ship Maria with Shadow as I imagine them as Siblings and consider that canon to my portrayal. Otherwise, other muses are fine even if they are over 18 (as long as it is not for lewd).

— Personality —This little fox is naturally benevolent and friendly, kind-hearted to a fault that she treats everyone nicely. It's very easy for her to forgive and trust others, even if they have wronged or upset her and she believes that everyone deserves chances at happiness. Maria is usually very cheerful, blooming with positive emotion, yet is disciplined and reserved to not seem hyperactive or overly positive.Quite optimistic, surprisingly patient. She is also very intelligent on a higher than average scale, enough to be considered a genius in some level. Can be awfully resourceful in most situations, even putting up a very serious barrier to get through some of them. Remarkably passionate about things, especially her skills and interest as a medical practitioner and enthusiast.Maria does have a stern side to her when it's called for as she can become very composed on a "no-nonsense" or a "don't mess with me" sort of way. Along with that, she can be annoyingly stubborn and very assertive. Incredibly selfless and can feign innocence if necessary to appear harmless to get out of trouble, while also being verbally brutal in her honesty.

— Abilities —Even though she was placed in a new body, she retains the attributes of a normal mobian. Not quite fast, or strong, or durable even though Gerald used a similar method to Shadow’s creation. Maria cannot control chaos energy, but her regeneration had been the only thing that was enhanced. She can recover her injuries and illnesses much faster than average, perhaps almost abnormally so.She has discovered that she can play several instruments rather well, cook almost expertly, and dance gracefully. But one thing for sure, she seems very interested in medical science and bio-chemistry; she had even studied them under a local university in Haven City.It is possible that her IQ level is beyond three-hundred. Her mind works even beyond her own expectations. Surprisingly resourceful and adaptable, she could potentially be able to invent or manufacture things using what's at her disposal. Maria could potentially rival her cousin and will always follow through with her ideas so long as she checks that they'll work.Maria's intelligence allowed her to finish her degree in a quarter of the time it took for the average person while she juggled a part-time job

— Story —Born into the family of Robotnik, Gerald was in custody of her care as the location and status of her parents were unknown at the time. Maria lived with her grandfather on the Space Colony Ark, which was at the time was still under construction even before her birth, and grew up there. All she would remember is living on the space station and admiring how the earth and space looked, sometimes even going down there with her guardian to visit. But her ability to go to earth had shattered as she begun to show signs of a fatal and incurable disease called NIDS [Neuro-immune Deficiency Syndrome] which is contracted genetically.Fortunately, the ARK was built with a stable environment for such diseases as Gerald was conveniently studying fatal ailments, and built the station mostly for that reason. With little Maria’s health in danger, her grandfather worked to find a cure. An idea had came to him as G.U.N offered him to make immortality possible, figuring that it was only a way to save his granddaughter; he accepted the offer. By meeting with Black Doom and working with the alien, he created Shadow the Hedgehog whom had been a treasured companion for Maria as she was growing up. With Shadow’s creation in mind and many blood samples he saved, Professor Gerald decided to make a new body for Maria; but as a back up in case he couldn’t find a different solution in time. The knowledge of the new body was a secret, even to the others who lived on the ARK; so Maria and Shadow were unaware of it.After several years, G.U.N raided the space colony and killed everyone on it. Maria died at sixteen to save Shadow by launching him in a pod down to earth and caused the soldiers to leave the ARK to collect the container. The events had changed as Gerald was hiding during the raid, with hope in his chest as he planned to do something beyond normality. Maria’s corpse was recovered after the raid ended and her memories, personality, and mannerisms were transferred to her new body which was a mobian version of her [a fennec, no less] except for a monitoring device attached to her arm. It took him months, but he managed to accomplish reviving her in her new body and awakened her. The setback to doing this was that her memories would take a very long time to recover, already knowing this he had to communicate with her and was about to help her regain them before G.U.N arrived from noticing the activity on the space station.Seeing the new body and the dead one, they thought that Gerald was trying to recreate Project SHADOW and captured both of them. Maria was placed in cryogenic sleep and moved to a base off the coast of Green Hill Zone, while Gerald was sentenced to execution. Gerald, thinking that they killed his granddaughter again, went into madness that led to the events of programming the ARK to crash into earth if all seven emeralds were gathered to power the cannon.As Maria was stationed in a different base, she remained in cryogenic sleep up until after the events of the theme park created in space by Ivo Robotnik [or Eggman]. The base became mysteriously deserted and eventually lost power, awakening or releasing anything that was asleep or imprisoned—which included Maria. Suffering amnesia, she stumbled and wandered out of the abandoned facility with only a hospital dress on, the electronic band on her arm, and the cameo necklace around her neck. Alone, she walked and walked until she collapsed from exhaustion and hunger near Emerald Coast by a city called Haven where she was then recovered by a retired nurse who brought her to health and looked after her.Maria has been living with the nurse for close to a year, with only a few fragments of memory recovered and as she attended the local university to study into the medical field. She graduated college with a nursing degree and has become a full-time nurse.

— Scenarios —1. She met Shadow and was able to figure out that her strange dreams were really memories of when she was human on the ARK with his help. They figured it out by going to the ARK, itself, to look through the old files and Maria copied them to study on her own time to try and complete her Grandfather's cure.2. Maria is still not aware of her dreams being her past memories.

✿ Reason why Maria has the body of a fox is because a fox was depicted next to a hedgehog hero in the old mystic ruins where Gerald studied for a time during the making of Project SHADOW. It was never specified what exact species of fox, but it did give him the idea to make a fox body for Maria in case he was unable to find the cure for her in time.✿ The bracelet/band was upgraded to something more compact, looking more like a tech bracelet. It's primary function is to monitor her health and keep it regulated, but it is connected to her phone so she can keep track of it. It is capable of holographic projection and is made up of material that allows it to be extremely durable and unlikely to break or malfunction under any circumstances.
